Long time no update, my bad!

Ok i prom I will update soon! I've been so flat out with organising my trip and looking after kittens haha. So I'll write in detail soon!

At the doctors again...

See that little red dot? That's my battle scar from a blood test I had yesterday. And for the first time in my life I didn't cry at the sight of a needle. Although I almost hyperventilated cos I was breathing so hard. What?



Now I'm back at the docs waiting for the results. It only took them 24hours to check my blood. Amazing. Technology is always amazing me. I've just saved this as a draft, I learned my lesson iPhone!!! Wednesday at work I went down hill really quickly. I felt my joints stiffen up, my throat swelling and my head throb. I knew I was coming down sick.i went home early and slept for 3 hours. Then I went to bed and slept an uncomfortable sleep, you know the one-sweaty,hot and delerious. That brings me to yesterday, I had no energy, my glands were so swollen they were sore to touch. Just found out it's a bacterial infection in my chest. Ew.

Animal Adoption

I wanna adopt ALL the animals in the animal shelter!

I just wrote a huge blog and the app crashed deleting it :( annoyance! It was a good one too. Oh well. I was just saying how much I love my cats. Today N and I went to the dandenongs. Gosh it is so beautiful! So many quirky shops to look in. The clothes are expensive but so beautiful! I might need to go there next time I need an outfit!


I've been keeping up with nie nies blog. What and inspiration! I only hope that one day I can be half as strong and intelligent as her! She's just beautiful!

I think I'm going to collect journals! It will make some great collecting over USA! Gosh I'm starting to get nervous about my trip! It's not far off now and the year is just going sooooo fast! It's hard to comprehend! Soon it will be 2010! Sigh. So much to do so little time!

Well I'm off to sleep as I'm currently in bed and sleep is starting to pull at my eyelids. Oh and I read the bride stripped bare over the weekend, amazing...ending was a tad dissappointing tho...

For some reason kitty wanted to go on the bench...I won't stop her, it's her weekend if freedom too hehe. The cats wouldn't eat their cat food so I gave them tuna. They inhaled it!!!! They couldn't stop and came back for seconds!!! It made me happy to see them so happy! Now they are both outside playing on the neighborhood!




These are my babies. Together. I heart them more than coke. If I had to go my life without cats or cokeacola I would be one thirsty girl!!!
It's now midnight. I'm watching mamas boy on 7two. How can these girls put up with how the mothers are speaking to them. And what do the mothers think
Give them the right to speak to anyone the way they are!!! Making snide little remarks, it's disgusting behavior!!! Unbelievable!!! Anywho haha I'm sleepy so I'll have to catch this show next time!!!

These pics above and below are from when we went to Phillip Island for the Motor bike races...GOOOOOOO Casey Stoner you ripper you!!!!!!! Was an awesome weekend filled with wine, champagne, nailpolish, makeup and FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD - oh and i forgot to mention cocktails....i have now found out i am in love with Lychees, sundried tomatoes and fetta cheese....but i HATE olives. They taste like cow poo...and yes i have tasted cow poo, a little incedent with a slip and a fall and face in cow poo, but we dont speak about that.

Y is for Yvonne....even when you spell it in leftover peppercorns on the restaurant table...what?Above photo is of my beautiful cousins, sister and Uncle Bob. We went to Maryborough to visit him for a weekend...what and AWESOME time we had!!!! thanks so much uncle bob for a great time!!!! He showed us all the nooks and crannys of Maryborough, AND he even stayed out at the pub until 1am with us on the Saturday night...what a trooper!!!!!!! it was such a very funny and interesting time...i feel lucky that my relatives are so knowledgeable - and are willing and happy to share that knowledge!!!!!!

This is the Palais Theatre in St Kilda. Right on the beach. It was built years ago...but they have gutted out the inside and restructured it etc to make it safe for loud concerts etc. Really great venue...very intimate.

Now the reason i was at the Palais was to see the one and only.........drumroll please!!!!

JOHN FARNHAM!!!! the legend himself has come out of retirement! and i swear he is as good as the day he began his career...not that i was around then hahaha. Gosh he is just so Charismatic...i think its love hahahaha. Anywho, im off. Ciao!!

This is my new foot heater for the office...mmmmmm. It keeps me all warm and fuzzy! without it i was freezing...so what if i like the temperature to feel tropical, so what!
This is the travel journal i got my mama...i will give it to her tonight at the airport :D its a lil surprise! i think it is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! its feux of course! She will be able to keep track of all her adventures and vent to it hehe. Im also going to get her some chocolate...i dont think she has realised that she will be without cadbury dairy milk for 3 weeks! and considering she eats a block a night, thats HUGE! We will all miss her very much, i think the kittys will be so lost without her ahaha. I will be too! come home quickly mama!!!! Oh and by the way...dont ever buy off me on ebay...i am the WORST seller ever, the items sold like 2 weeks ago and i am only sending them today...i dont think ill ever sell on ebay again! haha its to dissappointing when ppl dont wanna buy my junk! and its too hard to post when i'm workin 9 to 5 (break into Dolly Parton song here*) It's time to open some more mail!!!

I had a dream!

Well!!! it was a dream thought, that i had. And it was....drumroll please........

Maybe if i create some friends in this blogosphere, then i will have ppl to comment on my blog...and the way i can do that is by commenting their blog! woooo! i win!

So, today is the day i go baby shopping for Amys baby, not sure if i have mentioned Amy before but she is one of my best friends. She is due next month around my baby...excitment!!!! It is so hard to think of a gift for her. i want it to be something so special, so unbelieveably amazing that everytime they use it they think, gee i am glad we have this..... But...problem is, they have everything!!!!! so its really hard to find this heart warming gift. Maybe they need decorative things for baby. Toys for baby. a puppy for baby/?? haha i wish! Its a boy baby. i dont know if that makes it harder to buy or not! Tonight i am working at Taco Bills....hope i get tea, i could really go a taco! yuuuuum! Hopefully i will finish early so i can go home and spend some time with my Mama!!! she leaves for Vietnam on Friday and i will miss her sooooooo terribly!!!!!!!! i must get her a keepsake gift to take with her...what will it be??? hmmmmm not sure. Maybe a bracelet or something that she can wear the whole trip, i dont know... well i am off to do ALOT more work and it is lunch time soon so ohhhhh yum!

Not feeling it today

Hey hey! well the title says it all really. i told myself that i would always keep my blog happy and cheery, but that wouldnt be realistic would it? everyone has their up and down days and today mine is down south. Im pretty certain its due to a massive lack of sleep...welcome new lifestyle of working a second job, i was waiting for the fatigue to show itself and its here!!!! i had a nap in my car at lunchtime, by far the best lunchtime car nap i have ever had. And thats saying alot...i am a serial car lunchtime napper! Will put in some pics today, just to update you on some happenings. Tonight is the first night in a whole week that i have left work at 5pm, to go straight home and not to Taco Bills. Feels good to know i an just fall onto my bed when i get home. Except that, my bed isnt made and my room is a pigsty, its not my day i tells ya! here are some piccys of whats been going down in my hood...

This is Audrey, Everyone, say hi. Audrey, this is everyone, say hi! Audrey is our new office plant that i chose. She is a Cimbidian Orchid. Isnt she just beautiful??? i love her very very much. Hope fully one day soon i will have a friend for her, maybe a fish? or even a peace lily. She deserves a friend.

This is my rubber band ball at work...i have been making progressivly for about 6 months...i think that there would be about 200 rubber bands on it here...i like to see it grow and grow!!!!

Look at it now!!!!!! it is a huge rubber band ball!!!!! and she bounces soooooooo hi! i would say there is about 600 rubber bands on her now...at least.

This is a meal i ate at the local pub. They have all you can eat at lunchtimes during the week...this was my first plate, it was delicious!!!!!!

You cant really tell here...but i put this pic in because the knife was SO SO SO SO HUGE!!!!!! Would you like a steak with that knife??? it was like a dagger...seriously, you could take it hunting!




This is a photo of Sarah and i at Crown over the weekend, i won $40 on roulette! woo hoooo! the only game a casino attracts me for...and even still, i find it hard to part with my hard earned cash to gamble...this curtain behind us was made out of metal chain things....we thought it was funny...i wonder where the Knight is? he left his armour behind. we found it. Its hanging behind us!!!! well i am off to reconcile alot more things for EOM. Cheers to sleep and watch out my bed, give it an hour and i am there!

So...to update you on the happenings of me...
I have another job...Taco Bills! About 2-3 times a week i will be waitressing at Taco Bills to make some extra cash for my USA trip. 90 days today....NINTY!!!!!!!!!!! that is only 3 months, and there is sooooo many exciting things in between!!!!! Melbourne cup, my Birthday, Juz moves into his house (fingers crossed its before i leave!) work parties, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day AND boxing day!!!! gosh so much to do! cant wait!!!! I have been busy busy busy lately, with working 2 jobs, my favourite thing to do lately is veg on the couch hahaha. soooo lazy! today i am going to the local pub for lunch, cant wait for pub food!!! drools!!!! here are some pics to show what ive been up to...

We had a massive hail storm!!!! this is hail!!!! i built a snowman out of hail!!!!!!! it was everywhere! the road and grass was white!

I went to tepenyaki with friends and cousins....it was good fun...although i was a little dissapointed as at this particular teppanyaki they didnt do tricks...but it was sooooo delicious so it made up for it!

This is a bruise on my leg from my friends dog jumping on me...i thought it was super cool as its just like a line bruise!!!!!

Anywho im off to lunch. YUM YUM YUM, oh and remind me in my next blog to tell you about how i have been yelling out and kicking in my sleep!!! INSANE!

Mother is telling me NO!

HELLO!!!!!! Well, the plan is in the works. I have text Jayde (my half Samoan Bestie who is currently residing in Samoa) and she has decided she would like to do the Cambodia, Vietnam & Thailand Trip. Sweet! i havnt seen her in sooo long and it will be great to spend some decent time with her.

In regards to my title...im thinking about doing a flexi rent thing with Harvey Norman. Im still not sure but. I want to get a new camera before i go away, but cant afford to buy it outright...so i figured i could do the rent thing...like pay $50 a month for a year or something...im thinking to myself that its not a good idea, but i mean, thats less than my phone costs me and thats for 2 years!!!! Eh, i dno. i was also thinking about adding an LCD tv to that camera as i will need a new one soon anyway cos they are bringing in digital telly...soooo...im not sure. I will go have a look and do a bit of research today. Woo hoo! anywho, its time for me to go, ciao!

OOOOUUUUUUUUUCCCCCHHHHHH! Any shnoz is a good shnoz!

Ouch my nose! you know the Brady Bunch Movie where Marcia gets hit in the nose with the football and it swells up all big???? well, my nose looks nothing like that...in fact, it looks completely normal...but it doesnt feel normal!!!!! its throbbing!!!!!! this morning i went out to my car to pull some boxes out of the boot. My boot lid fell and tapped me on the back of the head (no pain involved here) it was just a tap tap tapitty taparoo, but it made me do this stupid head jerk reaction and my face went flying forward! into the side of the box i was carrying, so yes, i suppose i hit myself in the head!!!!! it was that sort of excrutiating nose pain that makes all the air smell like electricity. My eyes were streaming with tears...and no, i wasnt crying, they were involutary tears, i wanted to cry, but couldnt squeeze any real tears out! goodness it hurt! so i ran inside...."MUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMM!" she thought i was going to faint by the way i was carrying on! it was a pain only a mother could sooth! she helped me to make it feel better and then i went to work! i thought my nose was going to bleed! i kind of wished it did so i would have something to show for all the pain i was in!!!!
Anywho, the reason i was clearing boxes from my boot was so there was room to put the spare tyre back in where is belongs after its fixed today....see below for pick of REALLY flat tyre. im also getting new tyre put on the back of my car today...cant wait! i dno why, even tho i have a really old car (1985 model), i get really excited about getting new things for him (Garret - name of car). He deserves the best and i try to give him that when i can. When he got a new windscreen, it was AMAZING! he just looked so shiny and bright! Garret really takes care of me. So yesterday i took care of him. i went to the car wash in my lunch break and vaccumed and wiped all the interior down and put a nice smelling cardboard thing to hang from the rearview mirror so he smelled delightful! well....that nice smelling tree soon became overbaring and was the source of my sore throat! so i took it off from its prime rearview hanging post and hid it under the floor mat in the back seat. hopefully the strong smell will seep thru the matt and scent my car litely. Well im off to do ALOT of wrok, woo hoo! no really, i am excited a lil but :)

How good does chocolate smell first thing in the morning...

I'll tell you how good...BRILLIANT! this morning for breakfast, i had a salada AND am currently munching my way thru a block of Cadbury Dairy Milk, yum yum yum! last night i woke up in the middle of the night in a sweat! Like a crazy saturating sweat where it feels like you have just walked out of the ocean! It was because i had been dreaming about tabouli...and putting it in burritoes...and having to do it really fast...isnt that funny how it makes me work up a sweat in my sleep. How annoying! it happens to me very often...waking up in sweats. I think they call them "night sweats". who "they" is, i dont know! oh and i HATE tabouli...yuuuk! i think i dreamt of it because i saw a KFC add advertising their NEW souvalakis....and they have tabouli in them.....EWWWWW! for those of you who dont know what tabouli is...its like a mix of parsli, onions, oil, tomatoes, and mint. It sounds nice...but looks yuk...soooooo much parsley, yuk!

Ok so enough about my hate for tabouli.

My newest dreams are to go to Thailand and Cambodia. Well, not dreams, as they will happen. So they are my newest travel thoughts. I will have to try and become a little fitter before my Cambodia visit. Im not sure what i want to do there yet, but i love history, and Cambodia is TEAMING with it. i never knew that, until i was reading someones blog and they were talking about the Cambodian Genocide. Such a terrible thing to happen. I dont know how some ppl can be so ruthless. They wiped out 1 3rd of the countries population!!!! tradgedy. I also really really really want to go and visit with the kids in an orphanage. I want to take gifts etc, who knows, maybe i can find out how i can help more. I feel so terrible for the children there. Or children anywhere for that matter.

When i go to Thailand, i think it will be more of a relax holiday. Etc, ok so i just decided i want to do Vietnam as well...OMGoodness im so excited...hurry up next year...i cannot wait for this. I think i might be more excited about CVT (Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand) than i am about going to USA...haha just kidding. My mum is going to Vietnam in October, i cant wait for her to go, she will have a ball and it will be such an amazing trip! She is going there to help build a maternity wing in a village hospital, she is one of a few volunteers from the hospital she works at. I think she is really looking forward to it. She brought some items for her trip the other day, a poncho, a head lamp, a sleeping bag liner and this micro fiber towl that is tiny tiny tiny!!! think i will have to go shopping at Anaconda before i do CVT...think i will backpack it, no fancy travelling for me next year! its time to backpack! goodness i cant wait this will be great! if anyone out there is keen to be my travelling partner...just give me a yell...seriously! anywho, it is time that i go, enjoy your day!

updating of thy blog!!

Alrighty! first time updating at home, woot! i finally found my blog. *reminder to self*-save blog in favs. Ok, so today, its almost 2pm and im still in pjs, yet to shower and dont plan to anythime soon. the joys of being lazy. today im adding some pics to spruce this up a tad! EXCITMENT!!!!! heres the first attempt...
Soooo i did a modelling shot for my hairdresser...who needed a brunette model! was fun! a tad chilly, but fun all the same!
I went on a holiday to port douglas with juzzs work...was the MOST fun time EVER!!!!! loved it!
There was a frog in the loo and it gave me a massive fright!!! i was doing a scan for spiders...there were none, just this little guy enjoying the view!!!! pervert!
i got a fake tattoo!!!how hot is that??!?! its henna...it was so fun! this was on the first night in port Douglas!I dressed up as Audrey Hepburn for the hollywood dress up, extremo fun!

While dressed as Audrey, i met Indianna Jones...hehe it was Justin!!! i won best costume and won $1000 - of which i spent extremely fast!
After the holiday...we got a new cat...she is 2 yrs old...her name is Missy and she is a Ragdoll...very affectionate, loves to play around!After this, my cat Monty fell in love with my slippers, so i brought a new pair so he could have these ones...
He proceeded to fall in love with these too...note the different slippers in each photo...

i curled my hair oldschool with my new hot rollers! CAUTION: HOOOOOT!
i got a crazy flat tyre!!!!!!! it was soooo flat and im still yet to have it repaired...woops!

And for the moment, thats all i feel like talking about...im going to go and chill on the couch now..all that took me half our! woo! decent blog time Yvonne! im a tad hungry...maybe some toast and vegimite for me??!!

Ok, so you'll see that i have a blank post from the 18th... well i was going to update, but then couldnt put pictures up, so its going to be another pictureless post...boring i know...

Sooo...news as of late. I have become really good friends with the girls from my work...it makes work alot more fun and interesting. Its also helped me to come out of my shell, which is nice, as i didnt realise i had been hiding in it, until i came out of it (make sense?) There are 4 of us all together, we have a hilarious time, or personalities compliment each other and what not. We are going out again this Friday night, as we did 2 fridays ago. This time tho, my friend Brit is coming down from Ballarat to party with us. I have missed her. its so hard when she lives so far away. im glad she is coming down. And i cant wait for her to meet my work friends!

SO in Dec, my self and Lauren are going to the USA. New Years in Las Vegas!! its a bit of a scary thought...mainly cos i know last time i went, at the last minute i got really homesick and didnt want to leave. This time i know i will cry my heart out when i have to leave Justin...it will be really hard. But its only for 3 weeks and i know that i need to do this trip. It will be the experience of a lifetime, something loz and i will always look back on and talk about. Something really odd...some of the blogs i read...i would just like to go and meet those ppl in real life...i think because i am striving to be a better person, ie. more generous, put others first, think well of others etc i want these things to come naturally to me, so i dont have to think about it before i do it, and thats why i like reading the blogs i read, because these ppl seem so genuinly lovely. enough about my stalking ways hahaha.

Not sure what i will have for lunch today...something healthy to get rid of these hurty ulcers. Well, im off for now, might come back on later today to update some more as right now i feel like reading, ciao for now!

Another day, another blog.

So, i got retrenched about 2 months ago...and yes, it was because of the WFC as they are calling it...world financial crisis...at first, i cried, haha. i dont know why really, maybe it was because i would miss my work friends...who knows. Then i was straight onto the net looking for work...took me over a month to get a new job...it was crazy...i remember on one friday i applied for 27 jobs...27!!!!! and i only heard back from one...the one i am currently at...yay..so now i have some free time i thought id write about it... im on reception again...alot more of a heavier work load here, but its good, it keeps me busy.

Enough about work...

We got a new cat...a ragdoll...so so so so cute. her name is missy. She loves to chase milk bottle caps...the other day she brought it back to me!!!! awesome! next week i am going to port douglas for an all expenses paid tropical holiday! yay! who wouldnt love that! i cant wait. I brought a new suitcase for it...it has a 7 year warrenty...sorry thats lame...but im really into warrentys lately...like my watch...it has 3 years...but it has the same warrenty as a $12000 tv!!!! crazy! i would not buy that tv!!!!! if anyone reads this...please comment...just so i know im not typing to no one...which i probably am...anywho...i really want to go back to the states...but who knows eh! love and happiness!

Victorian Bushfires 2009 - this weekend

DONATE DONATE DONATE!!! i dont know if anyone reads my blog at all...probably not...but on the off chance you do...go to www.redcross.org.au and donate some much needed cash to the bush fire victims! it doesnt matter how much, every little bit helps. over the past four days over 330000 hectares have burned down, 3 or 4 entire towns have been wiped off the map by fire, its been described as "hell on earth". 750 homes burned down, just under 200 ppl perished...thats brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, aunties, uncles, nannas, poppas, nephews and nieces, friends, neighbors and collegues...the death toll is likely to reach 300 :( thats our worst disastor in our states history. People are homeless, they no longer have possesions, animals are homeless and injured...donate, please, and help people to get back on there feet. Im proud that im from such a giving country. the way people have banded together to help where they can. the fires got within about 10kms from my house. the fire that was near was relativly small comepared to alot of the others, but it still managed to wipe out a couple of homes. On my way to work yesterday i was shocked and almost reduced to tears when i drove through a blackened area...both sides of the road...black, charred, only the trunks of blackened trees left. It made me wonder where the livestock was that used to graze on that land :( i hope they had time to get it out. It was just amazing to see that the fir got within metres of the houses...the fire fighters have done an amazing job. Its so sad to think that some of these fires have been deliberately lit...i think these arsonists need a taste of there own medicine. how else will they understand the pain they have caused. I feel so bad for everyone involved. my heart goes out to the wild animals aswell...the poor things...would have been trying to get away...the fires came and went so fast...a kilometer in minutes...people didnt have time to think about fleeing. At least i think so...short post for today...i have a headache...from eating too much suger...a lady came in advertising her hotel chain and gave me free jelly beans...and being the sweet tooth that i am i scoffed them and now it serves me right for having a headache. Shouldnt have been so glutonous. Really want to see that movie tonight with Kate and Leo..."something Road" anyway...its about time they teamed up again. im quite tired right now, if only i could take a nap.mmmm if only. My first ever blog on Yvonnes first ever blog experience.

OK.

Well, to begin with, i have never blogged before! i have read over alot of blogs in the past and enjoyed hearing the stories of other peoples lives. I am a people watcher, no, not in a serial stalker sort of way...haha, i just enjoy seeing what other people get up to, how their life differs from mine and think about what i might do the same, or differently in their situation. The reason i am talking about this is because i'm not too sure that i have anything interesting to say for my first blog. Maybe this should be my aim...to liven up my life, start living it with fun and pride instead of worries. wow...i just dont know how to sound interesting...all the other blogs i've read have such interesting stories and so much going on...not that much goes on in my life currently...or maybe it does and i just dont realise...well i suppose i will now when i put it all down in print. I am at work at the moment...i have a fair bit of spare time here...its not too bad sometimes...but it gets boring quickly. Been thinking alot about travelling lately. Its really something i want to do...in fact i need to do it, i feel restless...i want to make ties in other countries, have people to visit and have come visit. i feel quite lost at the moment. wow...what a heavy way to start out a blog eh? im not usually this serious, you just caught me in down time :) I might be going water skiing this week...last week was my first waterskiing experience...wow...what a feeling...when you finally get up and out of the water...GREAT, but then you dont know what to do...its so hard to control your legs etc...especially weak ones like mine!! this weekend i'm going away to Rye. Might do some water skiing...wow i sound like a real beach person...truth is, this is the nearest i have come to the ocean in about 2 years. wow. Well, thats it for my first blog entry...lets see how long i can keep this up for, hopefully it will last longer than when i joined the gym...i am now an ex gym member haha. Love and Happiness.
